Das I-Ging wird befragt, welche Photos in welcher Art und Weise in einem vorgege- benen Raum gemacht werden sollen. Das Ergebnis der Befragung unter Einbeziehen des kalkulierten Zufalls durch Münzwurf sind 5 definierte Kamerapositionen und eine Überraschung: Filme sind nicht vorhanden, photo- graphiert wird ohne Film, 5 identische gerahmte Alumini- umplatten, beschriftet mit Bildtiteln wie: „Photogra- phie ohne Film. Der 4. Schritt nach Osten.“

The I-Ching will be consulted to determine in which way photographs of the performance space are to be taken. This consultation, undertaken by tossing coins, will provide five positions for the camera and one surprise: there is no film in the camera. The photographs will be made without film. The result: five identically framed aluminium plates, hand-written with titles such as „Photography without film. The fourth step to the east“.
